The colour-obsessed, slightly chaotic creative tech founder behind all of this.

I build apps, tools, and systems at the intersection of aesthetics and AI.

I'm Bonnie Cee. Creative tech founder, based on the Gold Coast, Australia.

I created Colourtone, a photo and video editing app with millions of users worldwide. It's built around film emulation and colour science for people who want their photos and videos to look like they were shot with intention. Before that, I was a fashion photographer. Before that, I was probably rearranging furniture and pretending it was productivity.

I care about aesthetics at a technical level. Not "make it pretty" aesthetics. The kind where you understand why a certain colour grade makes skin tones sing, why film grain behaves differently at different exposures, why some brands feel expensive and others feel like they're trying too hard. That's my world.

Along the way I started exploring AI, not as a novelty, but as a genuine creative tool. That exploration became the Fauxtography Method, a framework for creating AI imagery so realistic people can't tell it's generated.

Right now, I'm deep in the intersection of AI and creative work.

On top of all that I decided to create Automatica Photo, an IRL photo booth space on the Gold Coast, because apparently I wasn't busy enough.

I don't coach. I don't consult. I don't do calls. I build products, tools, and systems that scale without needing me in the room.

Everything I make comes back to the same core belief: taste matters, simplicity wins, and the best tools are the ones you actually use.

A few things I'm obsessed with.

Colour Science & Visual Identity

I think about colour the way most people think about music. How it shifts mood, builds trust, changes how you're perceived. I've spent years deep in film emulation, skin tone rendering, and the psychology of why some visuals feel expensive and others don't. This is the foundation everything else is built on.

Creative Tech & AI

AI as a creative amplifier, not a replacement. I'm exploring how AI tools (Claude, Cowork, generative imagery) can actually be useful for real businesses run by real people. Not hype. Not theory. Actual workflows that save time and make better work.

Building Things That Scale

Products over services. Systems over hustle. Low-ticket at scale over trading time for money. I'm interested in how creative people can build real businesses without burning out or becoming someone they're not.

What I've Built.

COLOURTONE APP

A photo and video editing app built around film-inspired colour grading. Used by millions. Available on iPhone. This is the main thing. The one I've been building for years. Premium aesthetic editing, fast, with taste.

automatica photo

An IRL photo booth experience on the Gold Coast. Where digital meets physical. Where colour grading meets real life. Where people take really good photos of themselves and feel something about it.

The Fauxtography Method

My framework for creating hyper-realistic AI imagery that doesn't look AI-generated. Documentary realism over fantasy. Restraint over chaos. The method behind images that make people zoom in and ask "wait, is that real?"
